📖 Islamic Studies Course
The Islamic Studies program is carefully designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the core aspects of Islam. The course is divided into 4 progressive levels, each building upon the previous one to strengthen both knowledge and practical application in daily life. Students are guided through a balanced curriculum that combines theoretical understanding with practical guidance, fostering spiritual growth and responsible practice.
Subjects Covered:
- Aqeedah (Belief): Students explore the fundamental concepts of Tawheed, the names and attributes of Allah, and the principles of Islamic faith. This subject forms the foundation for all acts of worship and understanding of Islam.
- Fiqh (Jurisprudence): Students learn the practical rulings of Islam, including purification (wudu, ghusl), prayer, fasting, zakat, and other daily obligations. Emphasis is placed on correct practice and understanding the wisdom behind each ruling.
- Tafseer: Through selected surahs, students learn to reflect on the meanings, lessons, and guidance of the Qur’an. This enhances comprehension and helps integrate the teachings into daily life.
- Seerah: Students study the life, character, and exemplary conduct of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, drawing lessons from his actions and decisions to implement in modern contexts.
- Hadith: Authentic hadiths are introduced, emphasizing their application in everyday situations. Students learn how to act upon the Prophetic guidance and internalize its wisdom.
Each level is structured to gradually increase in complexity and depth. Students receive guidance, assignments, and practical exercises to ensure that learning translates into action. At the end of each semester, five separate exams are conducted—one for each subject—over a period of five days. Students must achieve the minimum required score in each subject to progress to the next level.
If a student does not meet the minimum requirement in any single subject, she will repeat only that subject in the following semester. There is no need to repeat all five subjects if only one is not passed.
The program encourages reflection, discussion, and consistent practice, aiming to create well-rounded students who are confident in their understanding and capable of applying Islam in their daily lives.
